Water pump can’t empty tank

I have discovered that my pump fail to empty the tank completely. At 30% remaining water the pump fails to deliver more water and you can hear that the pump start to run dry.
I’m suspecting that the pump are placed to high in the tank.
Anyone who has experienced something similar?

If you can access the tank via a service hatch you should be able to see where the pump is located. In the T5 it is located in position at the bottom of the tank with just 2 small lugs (if I recall).

Are you sure there is still water in there & its not the sender for the gauge thats stuck?
