Weird rebooting heater issue

When tried to use heater (first time in ages) display console had a message to effect supplementary heating not available. Could not bring up sub menu for heater controls. Next morning turned off control panel unit, waited, turned on unit, pressed heater button - bingo - yellow light and sub menu on display. Warm bus for breakfast!
What was that all about?

Had a simliar one a couple of weeks ago.
The van had been to the dealer for some air bag issues and when I tried the heater it came up with an error messge on the control unit. I reset the the control unit and all was well.
I can only assume that the dealer had disconnected the battery as the one touch windows needing resetting as well.

ah mine had been in for roof work which means it was all disconnected so maybe same as you
will remember this reboot function exists.....
