He came home to his new "forever home" yesterday. 9 years old, same birth day as me, suffering from years of neglect.
He was found by RSPCA inspectors, emaciated, crawling with fleas, his back legs raw from being eaten by mites and a painful and obstinate ear infection. Three months of being restored to good health at an RSPCA shelter and he was ready to come home with me.
What a bundle of excited happiness I woke up to this morning, a few behavioural problems, to be expected, but such a desire to please they will take no time to eradicate.
A footnote: I have been extremely critical of my dealings with some parts of the RSPCA, but Mount Noddy at Chichester have been brilliant, really interactive with me.
