Climabox 240v Transformer?

Should my Climabox have come with a 240v to 12v Transformer?

Only reason I ask is I'm sure the salesman told me he used to plug in his climabox at home before going out so it was already cold, and I have it in my head I saw a picture of a climabox with a house hold plug and adapter?

Is this the VW cool/warm box that you can have as a standard option? If so, then no I don't think it comes with that as standard...mine didn't even come with the 12v cable mind you

Works great, got the Climabox going in the kitchen at the moment.. it appears to cool a lot better then I thought it would, actually felt a cold blast when opening the box after running it for a while.

I think it'll be fine, we used to use a 1950's Coca Cola cooler in our old Bay Window :lol:
