What is this flashing LED?

Hi, hope someone can please help me.

We're staying out for the first time in out Cali Beach and when dark we noticed a small led flashing on the sliding door b-pillar. Its green and flashes twice then pauses then twice again.

I'm wondered if it was a security sensor light or some kind of webasto light but can't find mention of either having a separate LED...

Any advice welcome.

Don't recognise that, it doesn't look like a VW fitment.

Have you got an afther marker alarm installed?
Or imobiliser?

It’s not an OEM thang.

does is only blink when the Alarm is on ?
or other times ?
