Sliding table lock.

Many thanks WelshGas, that explains why sometimes I cannot lock the sliding table away as my wellies are stored there and must get in the way. The older I get the dimmer the dimmer.....

It’s not a lock as such but the long hinge pin of the table leg locates in that when the table is stowed and stops the table rattling.

we spent weeks and weeks (10-ish years ago) trying to locate a rattle until we discovered that as the table was slid back into its resting place it needed to be pushed at the same time towards the fridge area. i'm not a stupid man but i'm seriously surprised it took so long to track down :-(
