where to stay 2hrs from Hook of Holland

Hi all

We're travelling to Denmark in August for our summer trip in 'Dave'. Ferry is booked for Newcastle to Hook of Holland (no more direct ferries to Denmark) and we hope to do the 450ish miles to destination in one go. However on the return trip we want to break the journey approximately 2 hours from the Holland port.

Has anyone done this journey before and have any suggestions of where we could stay? We'd prefer a campsite with facilities as opposed to a random car park.

Closer than two hours but would recommend Duinrell if you want somewhere with good facilities and lots to do. My kids were asking me only today to arrange another holiday there.
