Which 18" alloy wheel

Hi

I'm interested in fitting some slightly larger wheels on my 2009 California.
I was wondering if any Vw alloy will fit ? Golf / bora etc.
Would also like to know what tyre size is needed to look in good proportion ?
Do I need heavy load alloys or tyres ?

Any help would be appreciated

Yes, you need to ake sure they are load rated to at least 750kg

i have a T.U.V. APPOVED set for sale with rubber .these were made for the t5 .so no wheel bearing going on you .correct off set etc .see parts for sale .i not seen another set on a t5 in uk yet . :thanks

i think the vw Tiguan wheels might fit on the 2009 California

Apparently Range Rover rims will fit, but not Audi Q7!!!!

(I know this as I wanted to fit my Q7 winter wheels on my Cali but couldn't!!!)

rang rover will hit the inside wheel arc plastic when you do a tight turn ..and your wheel bearing will not last long .why do people buy car wheels to go on a 3 ton camper with 97y tyre rating .i will only fit TUV wheels to any of my vws .i will pack my soap box away now :cool :doh

Do you not like any of the VW accessory alloys that are available? Car wheels won't be suitable due to the weight, so would only recommend the correctly rated wheels and tyres.

I'd say sportlines, but then I'm biased

I used this resource when I was searching - its for the T5 van but gives a decent mock-up image of what the wheels would be like on the van, so you'll get a good idea
