Which one do I need - EHU adaptor for Europe ?

I know one of you will know, have searched through the Forums to try & find, can't find, so hence asking here.
Off to France for the 1st time later this year, and know I need an adaptor for EHU.
Just want to check that they are the type that has a 2 pin adaptor (like a socket plug) at one end, and the blue waterproof end at the other.

Are there any to avoid, or can I just get one from anywhere, Towsure have them for less than £5, and would it be worth getting 2 ?

One of these is what you will need. You may not have cause to use it but it is wise to have one in the locker.

What you have should do. It’s either the blue plug or the two pin. From experience I have found the site owner to be helpful with a loan if it’s not the usual.

TBH every site we have stays at have the same fittings as UK now. - blue connection. Our 6.1 came with the adaptor linked above, but never had to use it.

From memory we bought the two pin adapter for France and never ever used it there.

I would take it. We used it last year and have been told that we need it for one of the sites this summer.

You should definitely take it. We are currently travelling about 6 months of the year and we come across sites that still use the standard 2 pin EU plug about 20% of the time. We quite often stay on small independent sites that probably don’t have the budget to upgrade to the blue plug standard.

For example we have just finished three week trip down to Provence, moving on every couple of days. We need the plug in Chalons en Champagne, Vence and the Ardeche.

Yes, I would confirm what others have said, take one just in case. We go to France twice a year for a month each time and we do still occasionally need it. On some sites you can find both the standard blue plug we use in the UK and also the French.

I'm in Spain now, I have used both during my travels so as advised take both with you just in case.
