It seems to me that since we now know that the next California will not be based on the Mk7 VW Transporter, this forum is misnamed. I appreciate that information would not have be apparent when the forum was first created some time ago, but we do know that now.

Well some, including the dealerships continue to use the T7 moniker as I'm sure it will help sell a woefully inadequate (at least for a family) Multivan Concept. I'm curious if it will carry over to the Ford collab if that ever materialises.

@arcadelt
What would you call that section then? How about The next California thats bigger than a caddy but smaller than a grand?

the new california will be built on the MQB platform common to passenger cars, the car will be generally tighter and lower than the current T6

And will suit me perfectly.

I see the Forum Admin are ahead of the game with the NEW Forum Headline Picture.

But its not even the production model. Fail
May not be the Production vehicle available to the Public in the U.K. but it is a picture of a California Concept that is On The Road, and not just a facelift. Whether it suits you or not it is the Next Generation.
Lots of things will be changing in the automotive industry as we move to 2030/2050.
