Why not charge leisure batteries by idling?? What’s the harm.

5 minutes or so of idle engine charging to get me out trouble on my leasure batteries is something I’m rarely guilty of but will do if it means seeing me out on a static 4 day fishing session !
don’t let’s forget an engine will reach its working temperature twice as quick this time of year as it would in winter time
