Wind out awning switch sides

Hello, as a brand new owner of a VW California 2010, would anybody know if it would be possible to switch the wind out awning from the right hand side of the vehicle to the left hand side? Reason being i would be using an inflatable driveway awning more that the wind out and would prefer the access to the van from the inflatable.

With that said would anybody have any advice/preference on make/model of an inflatable awning?

You can attach a drive away awning to the wind out awning .....
Look up some existing posts regarding drive away awnings .

Yes, the awning can switch sides.

We simply attach the inflatable awning to the extended wind out awning. It gives a nice semi open breakfast area.

To switch the awning to the passenger side would be tricky and involve altering the brackets as they are sided
