Window tinting

I have a 2009 VW Cali. Looking at getting windows after B pillar tinted. Firm I am using said you should not tint the double glazed windows more than 35% to stop heat build up between the pane??

Is this right?
Anyone gone darker?

Mine is 2006 had limo tinting since 2007 & had no problems. Had limo tint as was using Cali for business use
