Windscreen replacement

Hi all. I'm having my windscreen replaced by autoglass later today, when I rang to book it in the chap I spoke to insisted on booking it in as a transporter rather than a California.
I know the screen will fit but is there any difference between the two in terms of tinting etc?

I'm in the same boat and need to have mine replaced due to a chip repair that is now spreading. I will watch this post with interest.

The only issue I would be worrying about would be the heat resistant glass.... but the van may also come with it.

I would definately call your dealer, or see if the guy from VW spots this post.

Well it's been done now anyway. Glass looked the same don't know anything about heat resistant glass?

Had mine done 2 weeks ago by AA. They did a good job. I was told not to pressure wash van for two weeks so that sealant would cure properly.
