Windscreen wipers

Just noticed that when the windscreen wipers are on intermittent they make a clicking sound at the end of every wipe. Is this correct?
Have they always done this or do I appear to only drive when it's dry ! ?

You probably need to renew them. We had the same, after renewing the blades the clicking has gone.

Just had the same journey though having only done 7k miles it seems curious ???? the garage is about to replace them, worth holding out for a warranty cover , or are these 'consumables'.?????

It could be a relay you can hear

ours make that click on intermittent ?relay as above I always thought of it like a timer
