Just had our first night away winter camping -2.5 degrees Colin our camper performed brilliantly. Nice and toasty inside with the auxiliary heater on. Can't wait for the next night away.

The cali does not have a heater, it has a furnace.

I could not sleep last night. -3 degrees in Arras, first I froze, then put heating on and baked. Even on the lowest setting earlier in the evening I had to take my fleece off and sit wearing a lightweight top.

For all the criticisms of the Cali it really is a beast when it comes to tough conditions. Would not want anything else to rely on. I feel totally secure that even if the wardrobe hinges fall off, the waste tank sensors don't register, the moo valve moo's at me, when push comes to shove and conditions turn nasty then that vehicle will get me out of trouble.

The more I drive the more I am impressed.

Oh yes.....as I dropped down through Bulgaria into Turkey this time 3 years ago...looking for warmer weather the Strudel Van was my Castle and Fortress and I knew I would be looked after.......

Nice photo.

Are those lights attached to your awning?
