Worn sliding door catch on VW ocean 2016

Just noticed top catch on sliding door has almost completely worn away its hooked end section where it engages into the B pillar. Bottom catch only very slight wear as hopefully photos show. Door opens and shuts OK so presume just poorly aligned from the start, wondering if anyone else has noticed this? Will try to get replaced under our extended warranty, we shall see how that goes!
