Some bright guy on our board found this out and gave the manufacturer some reason for overtime workhours:
The endpieces of the backrest have been mounted in the wrong position and should be turned around 180°. Result is a slightly more slanted backrest and the leg partitions are farther apart, ensuring a safer and more stable position.
Dont be irritated by the strange nuts, I lost mine awhile ago and fixed some proper DIN Self locking nuts.
