All geared up: my all-seasons all-purpose T6 Ocean interior & organisation :

I did not get this at first, check out the symbols on the switches, ha ha....

Bottles NEED finishing, doncha know! :D

I didn't realise it was an option tbh. I thought some superior being would strike me down if I left one unfinished

Well, it's not an option not to rest a bit after a bottle Doctor.;)
Therefore my new DIY neck-rest / duvet bags. I always found our headrests too high, especially when you don't have a North-German Teutonic figure like me. At first I found it a bit odd, but comfort won over looks, for the moment. Let's see, still hesitating a bit. Probably not used permanently, but surely when swiveled towards the 'salon' (elastic loop easily hung over the headrests).
And as the obligate double function: when the cushion foam is removed it's also a handy place to store the extra summer duvets.

Edit: After some testing I raised a bit the headrest so that the tubes get more integrated than on the pict. Very comfy now.

.... that suggests you're more of a Moria or Khazad-dûm stature ;)

Hi Auberg,

What is the black band aid next to the button on your pic? Is it to prevent the crack in your home wall to grow? Or something hiding your plate number?

Just curious ;-)

Marc.

Ha, even if the house definitely needs some band-aids, this one is a satellite tracking sign, meant to discourage Khazad-dûm's and other thieves! ;-)

Hi Auberg-ine. I used some Stugvik products in my Toyota. They are now waiting patiently in the garage for the Cali to arrive. I have a couple of questions. Are the herbs in a growing medium (soil/compost) or sitting on/in something that will keep them hydrated? The stugvik has holes in the bottom so do you have something inside the “colander” to stop moisture leaking through the holes?

Also I don’t know what you mean by “the lower lid of the stugvik”. I think I must be missing something.

No, it's from the Stugvik collection. I also bought Ikea Skädis elastics. So drilled 4 holes in the colander and hung it with a pair of these bungees around the headrest. The lower lid of the Stugvik fits perfectly in the sink and also gives a perfect support to position at the chair.

I’ve looked at the photos closely Auberg-ine (sorry, should have done so before) and now understand what you mean by “the lower lid of the stugvik”. I can also see that the herbs are growing in pots. But would still like to know if you place something in the “colander” to prevent leaking when the herbs are in it. Also, when your Stugvik is stored in the sink, where do you put the herbs?

I buy my herbs in the supermarket, indeed in little pots of soil/compost. At the bottom of the colander I put these spongy towels to clean the kitchen. They absorb what's still leaking out a bit after watering the plants (which I do in the sink). If too much water it simply drains/drops into the dustbin underneath.
If I need the colander in the sink, it means I am cooking sth. Then I just temporary put the herbs in the containers at the roof rail, or simply outside. When driving I hang it again at the headrest. Quick job with these little bungee hooks.

Of course! Very welcome. In fact I had you in mind this afternoon, thinking you might be interested in some other triple use crazy load I took in:

A man can't live on some basil and mint alone, no? ;) (from fishing gear, basket, well cleaned)
I drove with it today, and did not hear it once touching the windows. Next attempt tomorrow: eggs, or chicken,... :D
Like the idea of this fishing cage as a fruit/veg basket. I am thinking of making some kind of hammock (maybe from an old t-shirt or knitted/crocheted). Not sure of the design yet as I need to work out ideas when I can visualise it in my actual Cali.

You mean like this: https://marianneauger.wordpress.com/2015/04/28/westy-mods-fruit-hammock/
Bit afraid the fruit will quickly stain the shirt though.
Or this:

Anyhow, fruit's a must! And DIY's rewarding :thumb
Thanks, I found the picture on the left a while back and it was the inspiration for the idea being on my project list (which is a huge task/wish list). The old t-shirt idea is more than just make a hammock from the fabric. The ideal way to make it would be macrame but that’s not my favourite craft (you have to be very disciplined with the knots). But who knows. So much to think about for the Cali but I’m a practical, experiential type who needs to try things out as they go along. Waiting is driving me mad

Not sure how far Saint-Nicolas (the Santa Claus original) goes with his steamboat from Spain. Anyway, here in the Lowlands he comes at the night of 6th of December with his helper Piet and horse to drop presents through the chimneys, for all good girls and boys, like me! :Grin It's the tradition that we all put a good beer and some sugar cubes or carrots for the horse in front of the fireplace. And look how rewarding that became! Look what a clever thing He just got me here to further optimize the organisation of the Auberg-ine :):

We lived in Germany for a while when our 2 boys were little and celebrated this. It was always interesting that my eldest was really chilled about it, but the younger one was always petrified he’d only get coal in his boots. Glad to see you were good enough Aubergine to get some nice pressies.

Emergency Triangle etc. Can anyone tell me where this may be hiding?
If you mean 'where can I hide it': here, besides the extinguisher:

Aubergine, did you make up the button icons yourself or purchase them somewhere? Yours are an excellent match for the stock button images
:Grin At the net you find endless icons based on the ISO Standard graphics, even the silliest ones. Here are some to fit your bathroom humor.;) You can simply print them on a sticker foil.

Wow, impressive stuff!!! Thanks for sharing. I bet that you are the only Cali on this forum with a library.

And internal window box/herb garden
