Quick quiz question: what do you have to do on reaching 94,444 miles (or kilometres) on the odometer for the perfect future event?

Don’t know, already passed it.:thumb

Haven't got my Cali yet, but I've certainly passed it ...

All I know is that if I Google 94444, the first hit is a kink to this thread...

Wonder if it's still worth what it cost new. :bananadance2

What’s the significance of 94444? Am I being thick?

94,444 + 4,321.0 = 98,765

So you’d get 98,765 on the odometer and 4,321.0 on the trip computer giving you a perfect 9876543210 displayed on the odometer and trip computer combined IF and (almost) only If you reset the trip computer when you reach 94,444 on the odometer.

That is a problem when driving on cruise control. Your ODO meter is not visible while driving.
So most of the time I just miss milestones on my ODO meter.

Who on earth would then not use the trip for 4300 mi to achieve such useless milestone that would last just 100m...

Me... But I’d probably miss it if I hadn’t already missed 94,444.

However, some time ago there was someone who posted a photo of their odo/trip showing 98765 4321.0 (or was it 12345 6789.0)?
