"Bike Porn"-your rides and how/where you use them

Him, Odub and Brendog always look like they're having so much fun in their YouTube videos.
They do indeed.
I just love this edit. The final scene when he lands the jump into a perfect stoppie, mind blowing how you get to that level.

Have you seen Brendog’s vid of him trying to jump over his house?

Yes, that was great too! His Rampage line over Dwayne Johnson, into the canyon gap and then down that chute is still one of the most impressive bits of riding I've ever seen (and that was on video - I bet it was terrifying in real life). I'm always impressed by Olly Wilkins' riding too - so smooth and playful, but perhaps just gets less exposure because he's not racing.

So, favourite

Danny Hart , Champery in the wet
Or
Arron Gwin, no chain in Leogang.

For me, it has to be Danny’s run just for the commentary, and the whip at the end.

Ooof, tough choice. I never used to be a fan of Gwin, but I think he became more human and less aloof once he stopped winning everything, and that chainless run just shows a determination to win and mindset like no other (let alone the technical skills involved!). But I agree about the Champery run, simply because Hart is in absolute control of that bike all the way down, and he knows it - the foot-out slide is just someone enjoying an awesome ride.

Used to do it all the time but it played hell with the battery mount on my e- beach cruiser :shocked

And I guess we/I could still learn lot of tricks from you
On my freestyle frame, I can still wheelie a good couple of hundred feet and pull a tailwhip within half hour of getting on it.. not much else tho as I really don’t ride it often enough!

So today I discovered Nicolai Bicycles.

Wow, serious kit. Love the EBoxx with the Rohloff tranny. Great configurator.

Not sure how long I’ll resist!

I know, that guy is a genius.

If you're into motorbikes check out his engine stuff, outstanding.

Discovered this week that the motors in my eebs use Harmonic strain wave tech. I was well impressed with that. Awesome stuff, if you can get your head around it.

Spirograph anyone?

Clever bloke,
There are some amazing old school back yard engineers, they are really under appreciated.
Sadly, many of their skills are dying with them.

At my work we recent got a ”high speed bike ” or “speedpedelec” as we call them here in Belgium , to use for workers who like cycling and prefer taking a bike instead of a company car for short work-related trips.
We have a range of cars (fossil fuel and electric ) and (electric) bikes , now added a speedpedelec that go 45km/h
These are very popular here in Belgium you can get over 0,20€ / km driven to work and back home payed on your salary.

I had a testride the other day and with my electric bike (25kmh) my 18km ride to work takes about 42min , using the Speedpedelec it saves me 10min doing a average of 32kmh!
Downside is that you need to ride on the streets in sevral places between the cars , you need a licence plate and insurance.
And the fact they are not cheap ! The one we got now was 6000€ !
A Riese&Mulller Nevo , a ladies model so everyone can ride it .View attachment 74759
