Thanks, sounds great. Would love your recipe with amounts that work with an omnia if possible.Wow! those look neat ... and I am sure taste as good. Mine never look that good (always all wonky), but taste good (at least to me)
I make almond bread when travelling and have a Omnia stove top oven that I use. Comes out pretty good. Carry all the dry ingredients in small bags. mix in the wet ingredients just before baking (water, milk, eggs and oil) and viola, you have bread after about 45 mins. It is therapeutic.
The Omnia stays in the van.
This is the basic recipe I use - https://www.ditchthecarbs.com/low-carb-almond-flour-bread/Thanks, sounds great. Would love your recipe with amounts that work with an omnia if possible.
They look brilliant @chockswahay Put your name down for the next series of TGBBOWell, I just gotta show these to someone other than my wife! Haha………. The bigger one is standard white bloomer made with yeast……. The other one is sourdough ……..both still cooling

Is that by Omnia, or a different brand?non stick Bundt
It is not Omnia and I can’t remember the (French) make either, sorry. However I think it is simply a case of taking the lower section of the Omnia into a shop that sells baking stuff and try to find a fitIs that by Omnia, or a different brand?

Now this is at a different level altogether. Awesome. The Omnia is a fantastic piece of kit! Although we don’t carry in the Cali we always had it in our previous PVC……….

We have that Omnia silicone liner and yes, it helps to keep things from sticking. It is useful.Or is this silicone liner going to be more effective?
(I'm queueing up a birthday gift, and have never tried one of these, so thanks for bearing with me)

Sounds like @kurienp can help you with that as I don’t have one. The only (irritating) thing I would add is that the French Bundt tin that I bought cost less than a fiverOr is this silicone liner going to be more effective?

Can’t see why not….. I’m gonna have a go with the slow cooker. I would think the air fryer would do quite well actually. Try it and post the results hereAnyone tried bread in an air fryer?
Reason I ask is, I’ve always made my own bread, usually 2-3 times/wk however, since the price of Amps went bonkers, I’ve stopped.
We do have an air fryer (read small oven, no idea where the name came from?). Most things seem to work in there that would normally go in the oven. Surely bread will work?
Copy that. Slow cooker get hot enough? Can’t see why not….. I’m gonna have a go with the slow cooker. I would think the air fryer would do quite well actually. Try it and post the results here![]()
Not like a normal oven no, but at current leafy prices it’s worth an experiment……Copy that. Slow cooker get hot enough?
"What would be rescued in a fire" priorities in our household are (in order): the sourdough culture; the dog; the cats; me.Tried sourdough a couple of times. On both occasions I forgot about it and discovered a science experiment in the airing cupboard six months later!
Surprised to see you’re that high up the rankings tbh? Nothing personal, just odd."What would be rescued in a fire" priorities in our household are (in order): the sourdough culture; the dog; the cats; me.
