Hello everybody,

One question, maybe silly, but I am a beginner :)
There is enough water in the tank, but no water gets out from kitchen and toilet ?
I suspected the water pump fuse, but I don't think so (I think I can hear the water pump working), anyway I dont know where this fuse is located.
Any suggestion to fix it ?

thanks a lot !

Someone knows where the water pump fuse is located ?
That would be my first check.
Thanks !

Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately it is not the fuse.
Fuse is OK, I hear the water pump, there are 10 liters of fresh water, but no water gets out.
I will go to the dealership... Because no water makes it less interesting :)

Sounds like it’s probably the pump. Hope you get a quick resolution.

Could it be airlocks ? if you can hear pump running.
try putting more water in tank to help prime pump

OK thanks I will do that today.
It is true that when it stopped working, there werere only 10 liters left in the tank.
Anyway thanks for the advise, I will give it a try.

Would of thought airlocks would have been obvious, you do get a noise/gurgle from the taps when priming the system.
I hope it is just this!

Just put 50 liters, but no water getting out...
Monday I call the dealership :)

Hi,

I had an appointment to the VW Commercial Vehicules near home, but they could not solve it.
Waste of time.
I have a new appointment at another dealer, more specialised in Vans, but only in 1 month...
Problem occured in December, hope it will be solved for March...

I hear the pump working. So it must something else.

Anyone has workshop manual that I could read to better understand ?

Thanks !

Have you checked the pump?
On ours the outlet feed pipe detached from the top of the tank- therefore the pump would run and no water just like yours.
Remove the inspection cap and take a look it's a 30 second job..
The water system is not that complicated, I'm amazed that the dealer couldn't sort it

OMG was just about to post this reply myself!

Having spent sometime and 'faffing' I took the inspection cover of and the pump cover off and.... yep! Exactly that!! Took me 2 mins to sort once I'd got my head around pump working, no water (thinks airlock) took covers off and water swirling around, mmmmm that should be going somewhere! Reattached black pipe to top white pipe on pump cover, hey presto... water all round!

2 minutes - you took your time

I've got a proper round shouldered pipe clip ready in install the next we use the van.
Seems odd that it's built without a clip as the pipe isn't exactly a tight fit and the weight of the pump bears down on it. Must make sure I don't over tighten it

Also worked for me :)
The official VW dealer which was not able to fix it should become member of this forum....

Hi All

Just had the same problem and now fixed thanks to your posts!!

We had noticed toilet not flushing all the way round and pressure in both taps dropped so thought pump was failing, then suddenly no water at all so delighted that this was the only problem! Now especially great to have the toilet flushing rather than having to tip water down it!

Cheers!
