So I have bought a set of these and fitted them a couple of days ago. The concept is not too bad, although I would have preferred to do it with button presses on the light rather than a separate remote and battery to monitor, but hey ho its the best we have right now. They are OK, 4 levels of brightness and the dimmest is not too bad. The two issues I have with them are that a) the remote doesnt work alot of the time. It was worse when initially fitted because the battery was also low but even with a fresh one, they are unpredictable and often you think they arent doing to work then suddenly they do. This is made worse by b) when set to 25% or 10% and sometimes even when set to 50%, the main button on the light does not work properly - either doesnt switch them off or doesnt switch them on. The main button seems to work reliably when they are at 100% but I was hoping that I could leave a couple of selected lights set to either 10% or 25% and switch them on/off with the button so that I could ignore the remote. They do have a memory but that doesnt help if the button doesnt work reliably at anything other than 100%... I will leave them fitted for now and see how I go. Fortunately there are so many lights in the van that a couple can be considered redundant and also they are super easy to remove if I get annoyed with them, restoring back to original factory functionality.
