Stereo upgrade?

Hiya,

I want to upgrade our basic Cali stereo. We have a nov 11 Cali. New stereo must have DAB (so I can listen to Chris Evans on our travels!! ) Apple play etc. Any recommendations?? Thank you

You have loads of choice, if you're happy with using Apple CarPlay rather than built in Sat Nav (CarPlay is way way better in my opinion so no need for built in Sat Nav)

Has anyone recently added a DAB radio/bluetooth to a basic radio? I'm keen to keep the original blue screen with red lighting CD player (I like CD - old school I know) and without steering wheel controls don't need anything super special. A couple of years ago Kenwood, Pure and others did a small bolt on DAB/Bluetooth screen which could be connected to the aux input. Does anyone have experience of these? They do pop up on ebay occasionally! All comments welcome!!

Do you have the aux-in socket in the glovebox?

Yes the aux socket is in the glovebox and also a block with an old iPod plug on it which works but with limited capacity - It would just show on the main blue screen as 6 different CDs with unnamed tracks rather than multiple playlists with songs and artists as on the ipod.
