I took Jack trampolining on Saturday evening. I know he can be a bit of a s**t, but I was alarmed that one of the staff wrote it onto his wristband to warn other members of staff. So concerned was I that I asked to speak with the manager about it.

After giving the manager a tirade for about 3 minutes, he asked to look at Jack’s wristband. So I showed it to him.

That doesn’t say “s**t” says he all smugly. It’s 7.45, the time Jack’s session ends.

We left early.

Now when Jack’s being tiresome I call him a “nasty little quarter to eight”.

I was listening to The News Agents podcast the other night. They made the point that there’s only 2.5 million people that can afford to buy a super car in total …….. in the whole wide world !!!!

Jaguar aren’t talking to the likes of a Top Gear fan, a regular Joe. They’re trying to talk to those that fancy doing something fun with their spare quarter of a million.

That said I think the super rich do have “can negotiate speed bumps” on their check list.

Nah, simply undo the pro shaft, disconnect the brake lines, whip off the spring shackles and shock mounts and that back axle will swing down easy to get the wheel off. Negative people like you are always a deadweight on innovation.

Over the last days and weeks I too have developed a real appreciation of boring politicians. Ones that prioritise getting the job done over constant television appearances.
