What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

Remember everything needs to have at least two uses in the Cali. For example, I recently purchased a salad spinner. It’s also perfect for spinning out my clothes after handwashing. :talktothehand
What a genius idea!!! I stood in the toilets on site holding some stuff under the hand dryer... with tis it would have taken half the time!

I store mine on the folding mattress at the back of the T7 but it doesn’t fit under the table in the rear annoyingly, unlike 16 inch wheel Brompton’s. How often has your chain come off when folding?
So far it hasn’t.

Lucky you I need to look at adjusting the chain guide then. Lots of people on the G Line Facebook group saying they’ve had this issue. Perhaps different with electric.

New roof bellows from the very nice Kernow Transporters, including a weekend in Cornwall! They fitted in a couple of hours on the Monday morning while we wandered around St Michaels Mount (10 minute walk down the road) so all in a very positive weekend!

Before and after pics - the old bellows were circa 14 years old and very faded grubby brown with numerous niks and one larger repair, and generally looking very sad.

The new ones are the latest (061S) with added panoramic front zip. They are also much thicker and robust, with the white liner which makes it brighter inside. Only downside is its a bit of a struggle to get the slidy hatch shut when dropping the roof now!

And yes I must take the ticket off the zipper, keep forgetting that!

Very smart. Have you got awnings on both sides of the van?

After 5 years of sitting in the most uncomfortable VW chairs decided to try these travelife chairs which fit perfectly into tailgate.
100% improvement worth £35 each

I like the look of these, but I’m waiting for some like that fit in the tailgate and also allows you to rest your head back. (It would perhaps have a flip up section for the head). Anyone seen one? Or, improvised one? Using the sliding door as a headrest is less than optimal. I guess my wife and I could try sitting back to back? :D Might improve the view too! For at least one of us! :D

Maybe look at Helinox, spendy but high quality and you will have to assemble them which is a 2 min job. Their hiking range is great and super lightweight but you do sit very close to the ground so probably the best fit is the sunset chair. 10% off at the moment if you’re feeling flush!

If I pay the extra 10% will I get armrests? :headbang

Yep, it’s got a ciggie / fag lighter plug.
With fuse if I remember correct.
I pulled the trigger but mine didn’t come with a 12v socket. Yours definitely came with one or did you source your own? I can get one off Amazon easy enough but they all come with much heavier gauge cabling which I suspect won’t fit through the exit port on the base.

I’m late to the party but this is the fan I got. I have many 18v power tools and this thing rocks. No cables and battery lasts forever. Can hang it, sit it on a table, etc.

Treated myself to an Anker 1058wh power bank from Costco , great piece of kit more than enough power to allow me to use my nespresso coffee machine
Me too......put it in the base of the wardrobe (no safe) fed by the solar and wired in sockets to the end of the kitchen.

After 2,200 mile trip around France, we treated Princess Doris to a hand wash and polish. £40 at our local car wash. She looked splendid afterwards.

New rims and tyres.
