I have one panel from Roger and one from amazon on the roof. Claimed power is 120w plus 150w, but they rarely give more than 130w now after a few years,( yes I have washed them off carefully).
It is time for new panels so I can charge my emtb batteries etc.
What is the most amount for power we can get on the roof?

I’ve found these renogy panels are meant to be the dogs.

Choose the 120w panels. With free Z-Brackets.

Will add 30mm to roof height, but if you’re not bothered about keeping under 2m, it’s not a thing.
I’m happy to keep under 2.1m as that’s our local car park.
Also use code
Code (yes type in the word code. )

Welcome5

You can get 3 panels with brackets delivered for £321.

Then attach using the old attachments.

My understanding is it's very rare you would ever get "max power". Test conditions are at peak sunlight hours and with an exact angle tilt, sun strength and no cloud cover. So depending on all of these you may only ever see, across an average day, 40-60% of the stated numbers. Which you get.

AFAIK the max you can fit on a Cali roof is 3 x 150W panels. So 450, which under ideal conditions will give you 200 - 250W across a day.

Also bear in mind what you get and what you need based on usage are two very different things and depend on your fridge and electric usage.

A good overview - https://brimstone-energy.uk/brimsto...ic-panels/what-is-peak-power-in-solar-panels/

I’ve heard the 100w renogy panels give around 114w, as they are fixed glass and have the air gap underneath.
So I’m hoping I’ll get 135w max out of a 120w panel.
X3 is nearly 500w.

The t7 Cali roof tracks are 2100mm long.
3x renogy 120w panels are 1735mm

So I’ll have 300mm to play with at the rear for a starlink Mini if the pucks for 5G are no good.

Not sure what the max length of t-track is on the 6.1 ?
