Yesterday, our T6.1Beach camper at Breeze Totton, for 1st service. Purchased in November 2024, pre-registered in July 2024 from Breeze Portsmouth. Anyway, - at the service desk, "Have you a service contract?" Yes, the 5-star promise, Computer says no!!!!!!
No record of this package with VW. Service completed, and Totton forwarded the bill to Sales at Portsmouth. Sales is looking into my missing package. {which must be worth the best part of £2500 to me}.
It may be worth any owners with the VW 5-star Promise ensure it is active before they need to use it. Will update once I have sorted.

Have you put a personalised plate on? We had a similar issue with our service plan which is registered on the original plate even though the van now is setup on their system on the new plate. One assumes it is because the systems don't talk to each other and service plans are VW Finance vs VW Main (for tax dodging reasons they are usually separate companies).

No original plate.

Have you also checked the extended warranty is registered? It’s separate to the service plan and ours wasn’t recorded when I checked 6mths after collection, although the service plan was showing as in place with VW Finance. Worth checking with a dealer and getting a print out to prove. The dealer (Eurovans) said that it was down to VW customer services to put all the 5 star promise benefits on the system and that it could take quite some time, something to do with refreshing at 6 monthly intervals from one system to another. Ours finally showed on the system after about 9 mths without any further interaction, the advise and support from the dealer was good and correct, but the people I spoke to at both VW customer services and financial services were clueless.

Nothing appears on the systems, and they have had a year to do it.

I phoned them for a price on my vans first service and was told they never heard of flexi. Seemed very annoyed and wanted to know where van was purchased and why it was set to that.
Not sure if derek still there but the chap I spoke to was clueless!
It’s on flexi as I do high mileage and very little short/stopstart.
Dundee Clark’s sorted it and confirmed I meet the requirements with info attached

Sad to hear this. We dealt with Derek for a short time before he retired in 2024 and have had no issuse with the staff at the service desk or the workshop manager all of whom we find polite and friendly. They have always been really helpful. I got the service interval changed after Derek had retired, not a problem.
I do, however, try to visit the dealer when I book the van in for any work. I find this really helps but I am lucky as I don't live many miles from there and I don't always use the most technical language!

Derek was the best thing about that place went there for over 12yrs with him always greeting me by name and a smile/nice chat very selfish of him to retire!!! (Joke) I’ll let him off as I now live in Scotland. He was great help.

I would have to agree. He gave us a few good tips as novice Cali owners. But he had a caravan that needed using - each to their own! He comes back occasionally for holiday relief. The new team are all quite young so they have a few years to catch up with him. They will get there! For everything else, there is this forum.
Lots of great camping in Scotland. Have fun.

Excellent news, well done. Does that mean you get a refund for your first service or did you not pay to start with?
Did not pay the service department, sent the bill to the sales department. Think it is worth anyone with the plan to check it has been activated by VW. I rang up VW they had no record on their systems give Breeze their due it was them that sorted it for me.
