What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

Lots of bargains about at the moment - still buying everything ready for our van arrival - sale purchases include (decided to go all primus!):

https://wildbounds.com/collections/all/products/campfire-serving-kit-black - plates, serving bowl and you can put them back in the bowl with the lid on when dirty so can wash at home for 1 nighters!

https://biggrassfield.com/rp-733810...odized_aluminium_coffee_tea_kettle_1500ml.htm - very cheap for a kettle (might be out of stock now!)

https://biggrassfield.com/rp-738016...ess_steel_pint_beaker_4_pack_600ml_silver.htm - metal stacking cups, bit pricier than some but wanted to stay "on brand" and cheaper than individual

https://biggrassfield.com/rp-734451_brand-primus_primus_spice_jar_black.htm?large - it was £1 so why not get 2?

Just need the primus coffee cups and we're sorted!

Nice one, have not seen one of the t6.1 yet. Looks fabulous. Where did you get it?

My daughter surprised me for Xmas it’s a Otto model from Germany 1:18 scale - I think they are about £140 so not cheap but very good quality - technically is called a candy white colour but to be honest it looks the same as the ascot grey so perfect - eBay seems to be the place to find them

I’ve been after one of these phone mounts for a while and so bought one with some Amazon vouchers from Christmas. Very pleased with how sturdy and adjustable it is. Works really well on the dashboard cup holder.
May I ask which model this is? I don't see a ball, how does it hold?

Regards from Amsterdam,

Marc.

It consists of three parts - from bottom to top these are:

1. RAM MOUNTS RAM Stubby Cup Base, B-Size, RAP-B-299-4U

2. RAM Mounts UNPKD RAM DOUBLE SOCKET ARM, 1" BALL, RAM-B-201U (1 BALL)

3. RAM Mount Ram-Hol-UN10BU Black Passive Stainless Steel Mount

The Stubby base (1) pushes into the cup holder in the dash and the double socket arm (2) connects to the ball on top of the base. The arm then connects to the phone mount (3) via another ball socket connection. It is very adjustable and you can buy longer or shorter socket arms depending on your preference.

For a while I’ve though a pair of Crocs would be a good idea for when you have to get up in the night and go out to the facilities and for showers etc but I’ve always winced at the price
Seen some for £18 new on eBay but while in Sports Direct I thought I should try on for size. Then on my way to pay for something else I spot the Hot Tuna version of Crocs for £10 or 2 pairs for £16 (in the sale) - SOLD I’m now sorted

Electric blanket. ;)
Fed up of getting into a cold bed.
We got one with a 12v plug designed for lorry drivers for the roofbed. It plugs into the 12v socket up top and runs off the leisure battery. It has a 1hr cut off and took the edge off the -5 degrees temperature on the last trip. The thermal wrap for the roof also helped. I was very cosy sleeping up there.

We also have a plug in alternative for times when we have hook up.

Would you have a link, please? TIA

Just bought 2 of these cool lights from BougeRV on Amazon. Super nice! Magnetic and attach to the outside of the van when needed, can clip on or have a hook. White, warm or red light. Also has a groovy motion sensor that can be activated if desired.
