Rusty awning screws 680.

Year December 2022, I have brown streaks from the rear awning bolts which hold the brackets to the white roof, I have extended warranty but don't trust the dealers so would rather do this myself.

Has anyone done this job, I guess the bolts/nuts are behind the rear side cupboards.

We have the same issue.
I cut back the surface with a gel coat cleaner. And sprayed a light oil based spray over the brackets.
But for sure that hasn’t solved the fundamental problem.
So like you await comments
