18” Canberra’s in gold with a blue Cali.

Here’s a quick snap to show the colour combo I went for when changing wheels.
I used to have 17” oem wheels, but managed to get a set of 18” Canberra’s for a good price, although they had a tatty finish.
£300 spent at Phoenix Alloys and I now have this setup.
I know it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s my van and I like it!
(Next stop, lowering 30mm)

It works on a Subaru WRX and works on your bus Dude. Nice job.

Like I said, I know it’s not for all, but since it’s my bus I’m happy.
Gold side bars may look proper naff, not sure, I’ll need to photo shop something up, but a gold bike rack could look amazing. Just need to work out if to powdercoat or anodise. (Anodise would be better for wear, but colour match would be closer with powercoat me thinks.)
Bank is empty at the moment, so will reconsider when funds permit.

IMHO black side bars would go with the blue and gold theme better than gold bars.

The more I look at it the more I like it, I think it really lifts the blue

I had bought a second hand set of Black/Alloy 18"s Sportlines but I put one on today and didn't really feel it. They are in good nick but have a couple of blemishes & didn't feel right on a brand new van. Is Gold too far?
