There must be a few other late VW T4 California owners around. I have only ever seen 3 in the UK, lots in Europe.

This is our 2001 California Event - 2.5l 150hp 5-cyl.

Owned now for 17 years and still going strong.

We have a red i too nice to be able to still experience a smooth 5-cyl engine. Only real problems have been a turbo pipe popping off (use glue) and I replaced the dual mass flywheel (expensive)

The crane is a roll on/lift off service in Orkney

Wow. Good stuff. We often talk of a trip around Scotland but the weather seems to put us off. One for retirement I guess so we can go when the forecast is favourable.

Welcome. And that's certainly an interesting view of your Westy. I know of a couple of 150bhp's in my area. Sadly we're not members of that particular club but still very much enjoy our 2001 Generation 102bhp.

Here's the TDi 150 we used to have before we bought the T5 Cali.....Was great fun and built like a tank!
