2008 T5 California specialist required in the Bristol area

Hello there, I have a couple of recent issues with my 2008 Cali.

Firstly the sink tap was only working intermittently. I could hear the pump going in the tank but no water coming through even though the tank was full. I've tried checking the micro switch on the tap but not had much success. I have purchased a replacement tap but need someone who knows what they are doing to replace it. It's very difficuly to access under the sink. I also think it may have fused.

Secondly, the pop up roof has started to misbehave. It took several goes on the 'Close' button to get it to come down a few weeks ago. Now it doesn't want to go up. Press the 'Open' button on the control unit and it just buzzes briefly but no motor action, try pressing 'Close' (even though it is closed) and I get all the sounds of the roof elevating but nothing is actually happening. Is this a failed control unit??

I'm loathe to take it to Heritage VW as i think they will be a rip off. I have the van serviced regularly by VeeWee in Bristol but I think this is a more specialist camper issue.

Any thoughts or recommendations would be most welcome.
