I pick up a new but 2024 model 680 at the beginning of April. I will ask them to update the “camper operating system” to version 10 is that correct? I have also read somewhere about a recall? On the step, rear fog light and blue plug update but can’t find the correct term. Just want to ensure it’s as up to date as can be before I get it. Can you help with the detail and correct terminology.

Some bits will be sorted if it’s a late 2024 van. The rear brake light should be ok.

TPI 2074574/2 - ‘TPI’ is VW code for the notification from the factory. This particular tpi updates the control panel software and should address the previous issues with step etc.
Takes the control panel to version VO10110

Thanks very much, that’s just what I was after.

Make sure the hot water reset button is accessible.
I just had to wait 4 hours at dealer while they removed the double passenger seat completely ( 20 or so screws ) so they could press the reset button. It had 4 trip codes including 632 H
One of these thread has this pict

but as mine is still under warranty i want VW to do it.
