7 October and frost

Morning. Just got up to make tea and saw the Cali covered in what looked frost, so went outside and checked...it sure is.

Just a week into October seems very early for a frost, especially just north of Cardiff where we get wet and moderate winters.

No frost in the Vale of Glamorgan, well not at 6am.

No frost here on Elba, heard in CH there was snow in the alps/slopes.

You're in the wrong part of the country Friday, Saturday and forecast coming week all gorgeous - down by the coast Friday sitting on the beach (Sussex) it was like a summer's day - been hitting 19 odd still! 21 deg forecast this Wednesday, the seasons have shifted so much in the last ten years.
