So....
Is the River Churn a tributary of the Thames or the real river Thames and the watercourse sourced at Tewtbury mead really a tributary and not the thames?
For my sins, in totally light-hearted manner with my Sister, we have decided to loosely follow the Thames from its source to estuary at "Sarfend" with my photo blog charting our course.
However the academic in me can never resist an argument, thus I find myself almost on the side of the poor river Churn, that rises from a higher point that the Thames, has a permanently wet source other than a handful of often dry stones that mark it's start, and flows for a much greater distance before their confluence at Cricklade.
What des the panel think?
Please no politics, I'm fed up with Saxons v Normans
