Putting together a small "useful/come in handy" tool kit, any thoughts on what items you have found of use ?

I carry a few spanner’s, screwdrivers, plire’s, cable ties, tape, fuses, multimeter and WD40. Only ever used it to help other people!!!

Multi head screwdriver, pliers, Allen keys, Molegrips, adjustable spanner and some tape.

Think i carry about thesame as @Rich20 the standard stuff that should be in every toolbox .
Not that many of this have been of much use in the 8y but it's also piece of mind knowing you have it with you .
Alltough i think not many of us are taking tools thinking of working on the engine but more to fix things in the campingpart of the Cali , bikes , ....
Ductape and tie wraps are essential !

insulation tape and tie wraps ..... essential ....helped a fellow camper to refix their awning as they had caught in on a tree last year

Ours screw in or we use a mallet for the knock in type.

Last year one of the arms of my awning broke in such a way that the awning could not be closed. That meant i couldn' t move the van.
Torx bits, allen, screwdrivers and wrench sockets were needed which of course i didn't have with me.
Calling several local rv specialists to fix it, none of them could help since thule would have taken 6 weeks to deliver a replacement arm . None of them would or wanted to help me at least to fix it temporarily so that i could drive.
Finally the maintenance guy of the camping site came to help me out. It was a simple operation, provided you have the right tools.
This year i'm travelling 20+kg heavier, but have a set of sockets , hex , wrenches and torx, together with screw drivers , pliers.
Long retractable 19mm wheel brace, a mallet and a 1kg hammer for the big awning pegs.
Spare tubes for bikes and tyre levers . Duct tape, paracord, 12v air compressor, bunch of zip ties.

Here’s my man box contents

Ready for most eventualities! In assembling a "useful/come in handy " tool kit, it depends what you are expecting and could deal with if you had the tools, and where you are travelling could have a bearing, i.e. remote, cold, hot.
I think that it is a hangover from the days when I owned cars that never completed a journey without seeing a spanner or strip of insulating tape, but I never like to travel without a comprehensive collection of tools including sockets and torx bits, a long socket bar, torque wrench and of course WD40 and duck tape. Lots of spare fuses and a selection of Jubilee clips can be handy. I also carry a proper tow rope.
In relation to their usefulness, I tolerate the extra weight even though they may not be used very often. I think my collection is a combination of what @Calimili and @Perfectos carry.
At various times I have : removed the remains of my awning after watching it blow over the van and done the same for two other vans at different times (France, Greece); removed a rear anti roll bar after a fixing broke by driving into a pothole (Bulgaria); removed cross threaded wheel bolts (Greece); removed a radiator and replaced it with one from a scrap car in a motorway services (U.K.); pulled a car from a ditch after it swerved to avoid a lorry heading in its direction (Romania).
I use these examples to illustrate the possibilities, none of which I could have dealt with without my "Tool kit".
There are times, as @Calimili has found, that you can be stuck if you can't help yourself.
I've just weighed the tool kit that I carry and it weighs 23kg. (small child?)
