(Not really an awning but Quechua MSH Living Area didn't rhyme ;))

Best do it in the 3 man tent then...;)

We have the same "awning".
99% of the time it's great, particularly in hot weather - the best we have had (and we have had a few!) but it blew over in very strong wind the other night. Thankfully it was easy enough just to pop the plugs out and deflate it to deal with in the morning - no broken poles!
Will definitely keep your photo in mind though...

No, 3 woman tent please ;)

3 person tent?

goodness, if I had an awning it would be used for drying my washing .....

Hello all

Has anyone any experience of using the Outdoor Revolution Tech Canopy or equivalents connected to the California for & against it's use would be appreciated.

We are looking for something more than the factory fitted sun canopy but not a driveaway just a quick put up porch type.

On our recent trip to Scotland with the factory fitted sun canopy rolled out & storm strapped down we found it was the roof canvas that was flapping greatly rather than the legs / frame moving with sudden change of wind strength so it had to be brought in.

Maybe a Porch type may deflect the wind better any thoughts.
