ACC Sensor / Badge theft

Apparently VWs are being targeted for their ACC sensors housed behind the VW badge on the front of the vehicle. The Times report doesn’t say whether Californias are susceptible. Does anyone know? And, is anyone a victim of this crime?

On the California, including the T7 the badge is just that, a badge.
