I am wanting to clean an polish my roof. Is it OK to climb onto roof to clean without dinting it. Im 12 stone

No I don't think so 12 stone equals 76 kilos weight limit on roof 50 kilos. I use a seven tread step ladder and clean and polish roof from both sides of vehicle with no problem.

Guess that will ruin the warrenty!

Best to use a ladder standing beside the Cali and not climb on the roof.

And whatever VW say you can put on the roof it would be distributed on the 4 roof rack mounting points, splaying yourself on a roof bar may be a little difficult. +1 for ladder and long brush.
