Hi Wondering how I can see downloads before 2016 i.e. 2015 one about how to mend the water pump. Says it was put in download- great photos etc

You could try using Google site:vwcaliforniaclub.com word word where word is what you are searching for.
so put site:vwcaliforniaclub.com water pump into google search bar you can find really old posts using this.

The Internet Archive Wayback Machine at archive.org can be useful sometimes, too, though it's more likely to help with old pages than with files attached to old pages. If you know a URL, go to archive.org and paste it in at the top.

I'm not sure the archive will work for areas that require VIP access as they won't be able to see them to archive them.

I will have a look for the water pump file, do you have a link to the thread in question @Jennie ?
