That’s perfect! We used a plastic deep tray from Dunelm this year, but the bin would be a step up. We‘ll be getting one also - thanks for sharing !

I have been looking for this, but don't want to pay €23 shipping. Is it available in the UK anywhere?

@Newalls not that I’m aware of. The bin is specifically made for Campercentrum in Netherlands, who run that website that I linked to. I emailed them about postage costs (postage previously listed at €29.99) and they reduced it to what you see listed now. They mentioned that postage is a lot higher now that UK is outside EU (I don’t know how much it was previously).

This arrived from Germany today. Solid build but the Halfords cooker does not fit properly so ordered a new one that will.

I agree. VW are missing out on a good revenue stream for post delivery sales of lots of useful accessories. However, as I’m waiting for a delivery, perhaps now is not the time to distract them ;-)

Despite the new test requirements, travelling to U.K. on 20th December so extending the offer to carry something back for anyone frustrated with ordering from the EU. Willing to drop off along the M40 as I head to Staffordshire or can post on/collect from destination.

Obviously can’t cater for a huge amount but if this would help someone out, drop me a message and can discuss if the logistics can work. You do get to pay for the goods first, I am not that generous!

Be careful as you can have HMRC problems when carrying goods for other people. In effect smuggling with all of the legal implications.

I often get asked if carrying anything for someone else. If yes I think that they then assume it could be drug related.
Never seen so many vehicles going into the search area as I did last week at Portsmouth.

Just received one - looks quality except the 12v socket isn't accessible with the wood top in place - strange design. Surely they could have drilled the recess for the 12v socket right through the wood top? As it is if you want to use the socket, you have to find somewhere to put the wood top.

Maybe the designer didn’t realise there was a 12v socket there. Wouldn’t be the first.

There’s a milled recess to accommodate the socket and allow the board to sit flat…would have been good if they’d made it a hole in my view

The 12v socket is relocated. It’s an option when ordering.
