Albania car insurance

Hi all, I tried unsuccessfully to find an insurer willing to cover us when in Albania (nor Turkey, Macedonia or Bosnia H) so I thought I'd just share that we were able to buy border insurance very easily at the border (cost €49) as we crossed from Greece into Albania just north of Igoumenitsa. This is good for 2 weeks and is third party only. The policy document references Vienna Insurance Group. It is interesting that there are a lot of Germans, Dutch and Austrians here but so far I've not seen any GB cars or vans. Pity because its absolutely lovely here.

I'd love to travel to the Balkans, but on third party insurance would not do so in a California less than 5 years old.
