Hi
Will soon be saying bye bye to our 9 year old T6 4MT 204 manual Cali and picking up a new (well new to us) T6.1 4MT 204. It’s a 6 month old ex demonstrator from Sykes VW van centre, Swansea, with less/fewer (delete as you feel fit!) than 900 miles on the clock. It’s got the black 18” sports package wheels which look great but it means there’s no spare wheel. Has anyone found a work around? Are there options for buying some sort of “skinny wheel” spare? Is it safe hang a 17” wheel/tyre under the van as a spare and use it for a short trip to get you to a garage in an emergency? Is the emergency puncture repair set that comes with the van adequate?
Thoughts would be appreciated
Thanks
