I’ve seen campsites with 10amp and 16amp pitches. Can anyone tell me which is needed for the Cali?

Thanks

The van itself only needs a couple of amps for the battery charger.
After that its down to what else you are plugging in - Electric kettle . Fan heater, hair dryer toaster?

I0Amps used to be the normal in France but you had to pay extra for higher Amperage (they merely swapped the fuse in the box). I think that 16Amp is more normal now.

I Caravanned for years on the 10 Amp supply. Used a Travel kettle and only one electric item at a time to be on the safe side.

Cali OK on 10Amp but as mentioned any mains items like normal kettles need more.

Thank you both. Very helpful.

I have a basic 2200w kettle (rather than a 5a/1000w travel kettle) for the 10 amp supply and a 2000w heater although generally run it at 1000w. The wife has a hairdryer. We only run one at a time when hooked up but each of those are less than 10 amps.
