I decided to change my desktop background yesterday, when i did the photo was upscaled for some reason and is too big to fit on the screen properly.
I went back to the one i'd been using before and that was the same. They're all doing this now even the ones i know were ok before.
My screen resolution is still 1920 x 1080 as it has always been - i've got absolutely no idea why it's doing this??
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what's happening? All the photos are associated with picasa, don't know if this has anything to do with it.

Cheers in advance

Jason.

If it's Windows 7 try this:

- right click on the desktop and chose 'Personalise' from the pop up menu
- this should bring up a panel that manages your desktop appearance
- click on the image at the bottom of this panel that looks the photo you are using as your desktop wallpaper
- at the bottom of the panel that now comes up there is a button marked 'Picture position' . It will either say Fill, Fit, Stretch, Tile or Center. Click on it and change it to the configuration that works best for the picture - try Fill to start with.

Let me know if this doesn't work

Cheers Chris you're a star!
"Fill" seems to have sorted it.
Thanks very much. :thumb
