Anyone know what this is and where it came from, and is it needed...

Found this in the cupboard under the hob in the kitchen when doing an after holiday clean out.

Can't see where it went or what it is for.

Van seems to run fine and the wheels are still attached, but will this potentially be catastrophic?

No seriously if anyone knows what it is please let me know.

It's about 3cm long X 1cm wide.
