Atera Strada DL

Hi our T6 came with a Atera Strada DL bike rack but we are having problems fitting it, the key is in the lock position and the grey tab is also solid, the claw which grips the tow bar doesn't open? it can be manually opened and then fitted but the key still will not turn or the grey tab move. any ideas? Thanks

Are you trying to turn the key when the Bike rack is closed against the tow bar?

In which case the claw handle has to be pushed down beyond a certain point at which you will hear a barely audible click. At that point the key can be turned to lock and removed, but not before.

As GrannyJen states, also I had to oil mine to get it to push down far enough after a few uses.
