Was having issues with the Hab diesel heater, as it was blowing cold air.
(Sure I posted something on here about it but couldn't find it).
Had lots of great advice on here from many, but of all the advice I had none of it was what it was.
OK, so I took it to Central VW in Ellesmere Port, who quickly sorted it.
It was basically down to the 'on board diagnostics system' saying it wouldn't fire up, thus stopping it from working.
Central cleared the fault, and what do you know, working perfectly now.
What the guys did say, was that it probably hasn't been used for some time, hence it went into 'sleep mode' and when I fired it up.... computer said no.
Am sure most of you do know, but in case there are those like me that didn't, advice was to fire the heater up at least once a month, and don't be afraid every every 6 months to fire it up at full tilt for at least 20 mins to 'burn off any crap'.
What we can say is , what an absolutely corking bit of kit that is SO warm, and now we've got the remote working as well, its a quick, 'blip' before getting out from under the covers to get the kettle on...
Don't you just love the British Summer...lol.
